A Special Issue of FEBS Letters, Volume 582/8 (9 April) marks the launch of Structured Digital Abstracts and provides the first examples, including full linking options from the summary to the databases mentoned in the abstract.

Users are recommended to visit the ScienceDirect versions of these articles to make full use of the new SDA functionality.
